Great win for Fire against Connect 3. They powered to a 14-6 lead at quarter time before Connect got into gear. The 2nd quarter Connect settled holding Fire to a 21-14 lead. Fire won the remaining quarters to finish the game 37-22.
A second win in the league for this young squad. Force followed Fire onto court in a match against Predators 1. The opening minutes were manic with fast flowing passes and errors on both sides. Force were first to settle and gradually took control of the match to lead 17-6 at quarter time.
The next quarter saw Force stamp their authority on the game a 18-3 quarter saw Force seal the win. Despite some excellent play from Predators 1 they could not get back into the game.
The tremendous team defence and outstanding shooting from Grigg and Kitto won the day for Force. Final score 67-23
