Great start to the season for this young squad.
Such an exciting game with Bodmin taking the early lead. Saints defended brilliantly but unforced errors and missed goals allowed Bodmin to maintain their lead. At quarter time the score was 24-22 to Bodmin.
The last quarter was a determined fight back from this talented group. Some great turnovers were swiftly moved down to the shooting circle. Leah Henderson in her first senior match netted 8/8 which helped the team to take the match 33-29. She was not the only player making her debut in the senior league.
Leah Dooner at GK had an awesome game alongside Beth Trevail GD and Skye Phillips WD. The other team members, Natalie Brown, Vicky Lee, Jasmine Arthur and Arlana Warne demonstrated dynamic movement in attack. A great win to start the season
