Carly Taylor Update (Added 18th February 2012)

February 11th saw the start of a massive fundraising event for The Carly Taylor Trust Fund. Carly is making steady progress in Odstock Spinal Unit at Salisbury Hospital.
Her boyfriend Nellie Webber set off to run 7 marathons on Feb 11th from her home in Crantock to Salisbury Hospital. Nellie had already raised £8000 for Spinal research theough the Just Giving Website. The start of his marathons was however to be the start of a massive fundraising event for The Carly Taylor Trust Fund. All money raised over the week would go to the fund and be used for the continued care and support of Carly.

The morning started with the Big Breakfast in Crantock Village Hall organised by local Crantock resident, Nicola Keast. There was massive support from the local village people and friends from all walks of life. This was a great send off for Nellie and his support team. Raising a massive £4000
The evening event was a musical evening and auction at the Riverbank wine bar in Truro. The supporters crammed into the venue and put their hands in their pockets to raise money for the Trust Fund. Another £3000 raised. For the Full Report Click Here
