U16 Regional Squad Finish on a High

The U16 Regional Squad have had a brilliant end to their season

They followed wins over Team Bath and Lawn by putting on a brilliant performance at the final double header of the season

Against a depleted Exeter team they came out winners 50-20

Exeter were without key players but the Saints performance was outstanding

Hope Lushington at GD took interception after interception which the shooting duo of Milda Ambra and Amy Pryor converted to goal

The full squad of 12 all took to court and all performed well. The Team Bath match was a more tense affair with Saints edging ahead by one goal in the first quarter.

The second quarter was equally as tense with and it was still the single goal that separated the two squads at half time 23-22 to Saints

Saints then turned up their performance forcing Bath into errors which the attack took to goal

Score was 40-30

There were tired legs on court the last quarter having played two matches with little recovery time but Saints dug deep and came out winners 50-39

A well earned victory for this talented Squad

Saints U14 Rockets top the County League

At junior league Saints Rockets had a single game against a young, talented St Agnes squad

This was a real thriller going goal for goal throughout

The final result 28-28 was a fair result for such an exciting game

Rockets have won all their other games this season so have secured their victory as County U14 Champions.

Saints Satellites were on great form too and ended the season with two wins against Penzance, Predators and Saints Comets. Great promise for next season
