There was some ferocious competition for the Hospitality package for four for a Penzance Pirates match and for a James Downie original oil painting.
Lots of interest was shown in all the items for sale.
Some of the last lots were a signed and named England dress from Tamsin Greenway and an England T shirt signed by Pamela Cookey. Our younger club members took a great interest in these so I hope the ones who missed out, will still be speaking to those who were successful, at training next week.
A special thanks must go to all those contributors to the auction prizes and to all those who bid or donated to Carly's Trust Fund.
Lastly we were pleased to thank the regulars of the Trefusis Pub Redruth who interrupted their annual dinner at the Penventon to come to the auction and add humour to the evening as well as most importantly by spending lots of money for this great cause.
Final total was a massive £3106 but it's not too late to add your donation to this great cause

What an amazing and successful evening we had at The Penventon Park Hotel on November 8th
Lots of local companies, rugby clubs and individuals had offered a whole range of wonderful items for the Carly Auction.
Over a hundred club members and friends joined in the fun of bidding and donating money to Carly's Trust Fund. It was an early birthday party for Jean but that was not the focus as her husband Will started to auction off the forty plus lots.
